CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE

The Cherry Hills Village Community lies south of Hampden Blvd., west of Monaco Blvd., north of Bellevue Avenue, and east of Clarkson Street. It is a Home Rule Municipality with a population of just under 6,000 within a 6.2 mile square mile area.

A number of homes had been built in what is known as “Country Homes” surrounding the Cherry Hills Country Club. The area is home to the well known Buell Mansion, Cherry Hills Park and Covington neighborhoods, and has maintained a semi-rural character reminiscent of old New England townships. Filled primarily with estate homes, the median home price is $1.7 million. The city has a number of schools including Cherry Hills Village Elementary, Saint Mary’s Academy, and Kent Denver School.

Cherry Hills Village is located ten miles south of downtown Denver in Arapahoe County. The city is located close to I-25 and I-225 which gives it convenient access to the Greater Denver Metropolitan Area. This location creates a unique metropolitan situation for Cherry Hills Village. The City is well positioned because of road connections and its convenient access to surrounding communities and amenities. There are new developments in various stages of the planning and zoning process that are located adjacent to Cherry Hills Village. These developments provide various amenities to the community. The establishment of light rail along I-25, the destination created by the Denver Tech Center, as well as new developments including Belleview Station (Denver), Kent Place (Englewood), and The Plaza at Greenwood are just a few examples of outside influence.
