The City has easy access to downtown and to the Rocky Mountains via to major freeways: I-70 and US Route 6. With an area of 9.5 square miles, Wheat Ridge has a population of 30,166. It has seen a resurgence of growth through community development initiatives focusing on improving its social connections between its residence and its built environment, making it more livable and improving quality of life.

There are over 100 restaurants, bars and coffee shops within the City that attracts both residents and visitors. The City maintains a “small town” feel within the greater Denver area.
